RN Weekender - ICU

Overview RN Weekender - ICU at Cleveland Clinic (Hillcrest Hospital). The unit provides care for adults with trauma, high-risk obstetrics, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, sepsis, GI bleed, COPD, stroke, and more. Interdisciplinary plan of care aims for healthy outcomes including return to health or end-of-life comfort. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families. Schedule and Compensation This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex Program and requires two 12-hour shifts per weekend plus one 12-hour shift during the week. Weekend options start at 7:00 pm on Fridays and end at 7:30 am on Mondays. You will be paid for 44 hours per week and receive full-time status and benefits, while working 36 hours. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). One year of current acute care RN experience. Military RN experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Pay Range Minimum hourly: $35.50; Maximum hourly: $55.60. The posted pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires and may be influenced by experience, education, and work history. Benefits are separate.
