Position SummaryThe Shipping Clerk coordinates and processes daily domestic and international shipments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Customer Service, Sales, carriers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure shipping requirements are clearly communicated and successfully executed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively across teams are essential. The Shipping Clerk also supports warehouse safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement while demonstrating professionalism and integrity.Lead Job FunctionsProcess daily domestic and international shipments.Work within Salesforce and SAP to process, track, and maintain shipping-related information.Coordinate daily shipment schedules based on customer requirements, production schedules, and order priorities.Prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, certificates of origin, Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLI), export documentation, and other required documents.Coordinate directly with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners regarding shipment requirements, scheduling, documentation, and delivery.Communicate effectively among internal teams, including Production, Quality, Customer Service, Sales, and Shipping, to resolve issues and ensure shipments are completed on time.Monitor carrier selection and truck scheduling daily.Verify shipment accuracy, including quantity, product or machine type, shipping address, payment and shipping terms, and other order requirements.Maintain accurate shipping records and update applicable systems and reports.Analyze shipping workflows and recommend or implement process improvements when necessary.Support packaging activities and maintain appropriate packaging and shipping supplies.Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness, and follow all applicable material-handling procedures.What's in it for you?Pay rate - $18 plus an hour (based on experience)1stShift - 6am to 4pm (Mon thru Fri, off on weekends)Paid trainingFull time hoursClean and safe work environmentTemp to HireWhy should you choose Manpower?Free training to upgrade your skills, including a free college tuition programMedical, dental, vision, 401kWeekly pay with direct deposit24/7 Manpower customer care supportDedicated Career Partner to help you achieve your career goalsVoted #1 best places to work by Glassdoor 2021Are you Interested?Stop your job search and apply today!
