Senior Vice President, Capital Markets About the Company Well-known fintech company with a focus on technology & regulatory solutions Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Capital Markets to spearhead the development and execution of a robust secondary market strategy, with a primary focus on commercial real estate. This pivotal role is not for an originator or portfolio manager, but for a leader with deep expertise in secondary market execution, including whole loan sales, participations, syndications, and securitizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable distribution frameworks to optimize the balance sheet, redeploy capital, and accelerate loan growth. This is a hands-on, build role, requiring the SVP to personally drive strategy, relationships, structuring, and execution, particularly in the initial phase. The role also involves building and deepening relationships with institutional investors and ensuring all activities align with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of commercial real estate capital markets experience, with a proven track record in secondary market execution. A strong executive presence, the ability to articulate strategy, and a willingness to travel as needed are essential. The ideal candidate will have an active and established investor network and a history of building scalable capital markets or distribution platforms. Experience in managing teams and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments is also required.
