Requisition #: 659229 Lobby Services Associate (Part-Time, Rotating Shifts) Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL, 60625 The Lobby Services Associate is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by booking reservations, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues, and may also oversee delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation including luggage transport. All new Lobby Services Associates will need to participate in a two-week orientation, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Job Type: Part-Time, Rotating Shifts (Schedule) All candidates must be available to work every Sunday, rotating shifts throughout the week, and rotating holidays. Compensation: $17.25 per hour (fixed). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. Job Responsibilities Schedules and assigns daily work assignments of the guest services team and oversees completion of tasks Trains and guides guest service staff on job duties, customer service, systems, and procedures Greets and provides customer service to guests while anticipating their needs Responsible for performing service recovery to patients/customers who have received unsatisfactory service Books reservations and coordinates registration Operates a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions Answers phone calls and emails and delivers messages as needed Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, co‑workers, etc. Reconciles disputed guest charges Participates in Quality Assurance Programs and reviews to address areas in need of improvement Qualifications Supervisory experience in a related role preferred Previous guest services experience required High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent customer service skills Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail There is no predetermined application window for this position; the position will close once a qualified candidate is selected.
