Staff Accountant (Romeoville)

Description: Responsible for daily processing of vendor bills and customer invoices, as well as other relevant duties to support the accounting function.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Invoice Processing
- Generate and deliver customer invoices based on sales orders
- Generate and deliver customer invoices for pass-through charges
- Vendor Bill Processing
- Monitor receipt of vendor bills from suppliers, carriers, and service providers
- Follow up on delayed supplier and carrier bills and escalate appropriately
- Address bill discrepancies to corresponding departments and follow up to resolution
- Enter finalized bills accurately in accounting system
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years professional experience
- Accounting degree from accredited institution preferred
- Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Capable of quickly learning new technology applications
- Intense focus on data accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
