Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility. Experience in critical care. Must not have worked at any OSF facility in the past year.

Special Requests: RT cares for general med, intermediate, and ICU patients. Vents: Primary ventilator is Servo U, Servo i, LTV. Trilogy: BiPAP, CPAP: ResMed S9; heated high flow: Fisher Paykel.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, weekends are Saturday and Sunday for both days and nights. Every other holiday. No call.

Required Credentials: Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels.

Note: Client accepts hits of licenses

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
