Abacus Staffing is hiring warehouse janitors for one of our national partners!

Position: Warehouse Janitor

Location: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd shifts

Pay rates: $16.00-$17.00/hr.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout our warehouse facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly (indoors and outdoors)
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
• Maintain cleanliness around loading docks, storage areas, and high-traffic zones
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Respond to spills and ensure proper cleanup procedures are followed
• Identify and report safety hazards, damages, or maintenance needs
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (may include heat, cold, dust, and noise)
