OhioMeansJobs | Lake County is accepting resumes for the following position: Position: Operator I Location: Mentor Hours: Full Time Pay: $17.00-$25.00 Position ID: 3348 POSITION SUMMARY Engage in assembly of product, using various hand tools and equipment. Jobs can range from plastic corrugate and/or foam components to create reusable/recyclable packing interiors (dunnage) while adhering to safety and quality standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble parts according to provided prints. Insert assembled interiors into plastic containers. Perform self and peer quality inspection during assembly to ensure quality is maintained. Alert Cell Lead, Set Up and/or Supervisor to any issues with safety within the cell and quality of product being Work in various cells or on machines throughout shift. Verify parts and material to the work order. Calculate Cycle Time (takt) for the work order in order to meet production needs. Become proficient in the use of basic hand tools and the following hand tools: rivet gun, handheld sonic welder, hot air welder, glue gun, glue line and manual hot wire bender. Gain operational knowledge of baler, drill press and band saw. Complete and pass Print Drawing training, Tape Measure training and 17-21 Day training Complete all paperwork fully and properly for the assigned tasks. Work in a safe and efficient
