IT Service Desk Technician - Helena

Salary: $37,440 - 47,840 per year Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems
• Previous experience in customer service or phone-based support
• Strong interpersonal abilities, including telephone etiquette, active listening, and client care
• Excellent customer service skills in person and by phone, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and coworkers
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong English fluency
• Ability to multitask and adjust quickly to changing priorities
• Strong typing skills for accurate and efficient ticket entry
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Familiarity with Helena, Great Falls, Bozeman, Butte, Missoula, and the surrounding area
• Familiarity with computer system support terminology and concepts preferred
• Professional IT Help Desk experience: 1 year required
• Helena, MT 59601 as the required location
• On-site, in-office availability required

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client service requests
• Receive and prepare service requests submitted by email, manual entry, or direct client input
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely entry of work on service requests
• Keep clients updated on incident progress and notify them of planned changes or outages
• Escalate service requests that cannot be resolved within agreed service levels
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep support operations running smoothly
• Help improve the efficiency and productivity of IT support resources
• Complete assigned training materials and blueprints in the CRM training system
• Record all work as service tickets in the CRM tool
• Assist with administrative and data entry tasks as assigned
• Deliver prompt turnaround on client requests
• Continuously improve client service, perception, and satisfaction
