Student Office Assistant

ESU's Business Accelerator and Entrepreneurship Program is searching for a Student Office Assistant Purpose: The student will assistthe Business Accelerator/EntrepreneurshipPrograms, J-1 VISA, Pocono Mountains Keystone Innovation Zone, with activities,programs, competitions community outreach, marketing, and data collectionanalysis. Responsibilities: Assistin the planning, preparation, and management of Business Accelerator events andprograms such as the ESU Warrior Startup Challenge, and Entrepreneurship Club. Communicateand collaborate with other ESU departments, staff, faculty, and externalclients to advance the goals and mission of the Business Accelerator. Performoffice functions including but not limited to, delivering mail, submitting workorders, answering phones, and helping other staff and offices as needed. Qualifications: Current ESU Student. All Majors are welcomed. Organizationalskills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Abilityto think critically and creatively. Abilityto follow instructions, communicate, and work both independently and as part ofa team. Professionalwriting and communication skills Fluentusing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Canva and Adobe Additional Information: Hourly Rate $15.00 Up to 10 hours per week subject to change. Employment Eligibility & University Commitment Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
