Staff Accountant

Position Summary This position will function to support the Accounting & Finance department. Job Details Job Title: Staff Accountant Company: AISIN World Corp. of America Department: Accounting & Finance Location: Northville, MI Responsibilities Month end & quarter end close activities Journal entry preparation & posting Account reconciliation & analysis Financial reporting & analysis General ledger posting and account reconciliation Assist with quarterly review and year-end financial audit Daily cash & monthly bank account reconciliations Accounts payable invoice entry, validation, payments and research Accounts receivable manual invoice creation Travel & entertainment expense reporting management and auditing Reporting (internal & external) Fixed asset accounting & audit support Inter-company accounts payable and accounts receivable analysis Perform related party inter-company reconciliations, analysis and confirmations Insurance & tax support Kaizen improvement activities Other tasks and duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities 0-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance Ability to communicate effectively Ability to understand standard accounting systems Ability to understand and perform research Proficiency in MS Office Attention to detail, effective communication with stakeholders, and organization of tasks on time Excellent written and oral language skills Beneficial Skills & Experience Oracle Fusion experience Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS Education / Training / Certifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university required. #J-18808-Ljbffr AISIN World Corp. of America
