Shipping/Receiving Lead - Day Shift

Requires a deeper understanding, enhanced skills, and a track record of successful performance in the respective warehouse role, building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the earlier stages. Furthermore, candidates should be prepared to assume additional responsibilities.Picker Level 4: Cross-Training: Cross-train in other warehouse roles (Receiver, Shipper, Inventory Control) to provide backup support during peak periods or absences. Complex Order Fulfillment: Handle more complex order types, such as customized orders or specialized packaging requirements, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.Receiver Level 4: Inventory Auditing: Conduct in-depth audits of specific inventory areas or categories to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and standards. Inbound Analysis: Assist in evaluating inbound performance metrics and collaborating with the Procurement team to optimize vendor relationships.Inventory Control Level 4: Demand Forecasting: Utilize advanced demand forecasting techniques and data analysis to anticipate inventory needs and optimize stock levels. Resolve Discrepancies: Apply advanced inventory investigation techniques to analyze system transactions, physical inventory and product specifications to resolve discrepancies.Shipper Level 4: Returns Processing: Manage the processing of returns from customers, ensuring items are inspected, documented, and restocked or disposed of appropriately.
