Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor and Delivery role in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Include Providing safe, respectful, patient-centered birthing care to laboring mothers, newborns, and NICU infants. Assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and evaluating interventions. Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and supporting discharge planning. Administering blood products, recognizing emergencies, and adhering to infection control and safety standards. Delegating tasks per legal scope, supporting performance improvement, and assuming charge nurse duties when needed. Qualifications And Skills Required Minimum of 5 years of Labor & Delivery experience and 1 year of acute care nursing. BSN or MSN degree. Current RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (specific to role requirements). Strong assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments, remaining attentive despite interruptions. Additional Qualifications Include Excellent communication skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices. Ability to operate medical equipment and computer systems proficiently.
