About the Opportunity

MCL Talent Partners is searching for a friendly, motivated B2B Sales Representative on behalf of a premier client in the Cape Girardeau area. In this role, you'll spend your days out in the community, meeting face-to-face with business owners to help them find the best benefit solutions for their teams.

This is a relationship-driven role where your personality and work ethic matter far more than your resume. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship from day one. Whether you live right in Cape Girardeau or are commuting from Sikeston, Perryville, Dexter, or surrounding communities, we'd love to hear from you!

(Note: Backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, or outside sales are incredibly valuable here—no prior corporate experience is required!)

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
  • Community Networking: Connect face-to-face with local business owners and managers (strictly business-to-business; no residential door-to-door or retail store sales).

  • Building Relationships: Grow and maintain strong, lasting partnerships with businesses in your local market.

  • Consulting Helping: Sit down with clients to clearly and simply explain the supplemental benefit solutions available to them.

  • Ongoing Support: Help your clients retain their accounts and assist their employees with on-site enrollments.

  • Learning Growing: Actively participate in our onboarding, business coaching, and leadership training to build your skills.

  • A Willingness to Learn: You are highly coachable and ready to dive into our training.

  • The Essentials: You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel to meet clients.

  • Licensing: You are willing to obtain your state professional license (don't worry—we provide full support, guidance, and study materials during onboarding!).
