Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for an inpatient adult and pediatric setting requiring RRT credential, teaching hospital experience, and recent Epic experience.

Job Details

• Inpatient setting covering adult, adult ICU, adult ED, and general pediatric respiratory care,
• No NICU or PICU coverage required,
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week,
• Weekend coverage as needed with schedule flexibility required,
• No call requirements,
• No floating required,
• No block schedules accepted,

Job Requirements

• Must hold RRT credential; CRT will not be accepted,
• Minimum 1 year of experience required,
• Teaching hospital experience required,
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required,
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS certifications required,
• Prior travel experience preferred,
• License required if applicable,
• Complete documentation of all employment history including specialties, bed count, EMR, and facility type required for consideration,
• Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained,

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services across adult and pediatric inpatient units,
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays,
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation access,

• Radius-based pay tiers apply based on direct-line mileage from facility
