Account Manager
$80K–$100K Base + Uncapped Commission
Compex Legal Services is looking for an experienced Account Manager to grow our Northern California market (San Francisco, Oakland, Walnut Creek, all of the East Bay). This is a true sales and business development role for a proven sales professional with experience in court reporting, records retrieval, litigation support, or other legal services.
The successful candidate will inherit an established book of business and will be responsible for driving growth through new business development, expanding existing client relationships, and increasing revenue across multiple service lines. This role is focused on measurable sales results—not simply maintaining existing accounts.
We're especially interested in candidates based in Los Angeles or Ventura county with established relationships within the legal industry.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow an established book of business while actively developing new opportunities
- Identify, prospect, present, negotiate, and close new business
- Expand existing client relationships and increase revenue across multiple service lines
- Sell records retrieval, court reporting, and summarization services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, attorneys, and legal decision-makers
- Develop a strong presence within the Southern California legal community
- Manage your territory and consistently achieve measurable revenue and sales goals
- Leverage your legal-industry knowledge and relationships to identify opportunities and drive growth
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
- Experience selling legal services, court reporting, records retrieval, litigation support, or related services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Established relationships within the legal industry preferred
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to grow revenue and earn
