As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Detail in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Pre-Employment Requirement:Security Experience - 2+ Years (C114)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and access concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
