Summary

The QC Technician I/ Warehouse Worker supports Production Materials Quality Assurance (PMQA) activities by safely and accurately sampling raw materials in accordance with established procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). This role combines warehouse and laboratory activities, including raw material sampling, forklift operations, SAP/LIMS transactions, documentation, and material movement. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good work history, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

• Perform raw material sampling according to established methods and SOPs.
• Prepare required paperwork, sampling materials, and sampling rooms.
• Sample raw materials within designated White Zone sampling areas while following cGMP requirements.
• Safely move materials into and out of the primary warehouse using a forklift/lift truck.
• Complete required transactions and documentation in LIMS and SAP systems.
• Verify and document sampling activities accurately.
• Identify and report unusual observations, quality concerns, or other issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all applicable documentation procedures.
• Perform general warehouse and laboratory housekeeping.
• Follow all safety, quality, DEA, FDA, and GMP requirements applicable to the facility.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, laboratory, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Support overtime and changing schedules as needed to meet business demands.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of GMP laboratory or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 0-1 year of Material Handler or Forklift Operator experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with DEA, FDA, safety, and GMP requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in the Blue Ash/Reading, OH area.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Proficiency in English.
