Job Description Ophthalmologist needed in Cooperstown, NYLocated in the foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains70 miles to Albany & 90 miles to Syracuse NYService area of 600,000 peopleFull time, permanent openingSeeking a General and/or Cataract Surgeon to join a busy ophthalmology department based in the lovely village of Cooperstown. 6 Ophthalmologists and 6 Optometrists Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist Opportunities exist for both research and teaching if interested. Currently there are specialists in retina, cornea, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, cornea or Oculoplastics would be welcome. The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room. On call is every 6th weekend and rarely busy Salary Range: $400,000 $476,675 This compensation range represents Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
