Shift Supervisor (3rd shift)

Description Pay Range: $19.80 - $21.78 ***Opportunity to receive 2 pay increases within the first 90 days ***

Responsibilities The Shift Supervisor is responsible to provide active leadership for co-workers, and to assist the Program Supervisors in the overall operation of the dorm and campus. The Shift Supervisor is responsible to provide a therapeutic milieu within the program setting. The Shift Supervisor supervises the activities of clients/staff and works as part of a team to maintain a safe and secure environment for all clients/staff that promotes growth and development. The Shift Supervisor is assigned specific clients with whom they will act as a mentor regarding creating and maintaining treatment plans and will advocate for those youth. The Shift Supervisor communicates effectively with team members to assure that client’s needs are met. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct feedback to co-workers and will communicate effectively with Program Supervisor. Physical and Sensory Requirements Ability to perform safe crisis management (SCM) Reaching above the shoulder level Walking Bending at the waist Lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 50 max pounds Repetitive kneeling movements to and from the floor Sustained kneeling position for up to 10 minutes Supporting another participant/client's body weight Standing for up to 8 hours Driving Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent - 6 months prior experience in working with adolescents is required.
