Cloud SRE / Vault Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities Provide operational support for enterprise-grade tools such as HashiCorp Vault and cloud secrets management platforms (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager). Participate in on-call rotations and support incident troubleshooting with application and infrastructure teams. Monitor, maintain, and improve cloud system reliability, availability, and performance. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and streamline operational processes. Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual operational effort. Document engineering solutions, operational procedures, and system designs. Support cloud infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response activities. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Cloud SRE / Cloud Operations roles. Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, including: AWS Config CloudTrail CloudWatch AWS Systems Manager CloudFormation Experience working with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools. Strong scripting experience for automation (Python, Shell, JavaScript, or Perl). Experience in supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills. Experience documenting technical solutions and operational processes. Exposure to enterprise cloud integration and system reliability practices. Preferred Skills Understanding of core IT infrastructure components: LDAP Networking Firewalls Load balancers Federated identity systems Experience working across multiple operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows). Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly terms. Experience driving automation and process improvements in cloud environments.
