Join EY and help us build a better working world. Job Overview Consulting - Technology Consulting - AI and Data - Enterprise Data - Data Science - Manager (Multiple Positions). Role based in Austin, TX. Responsibilities Manage and drive the delivery of data science and analytics solutions to a wide variety of clients. Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich, and analyze data from multiple sources. Assist clients with data‑driven decision making by working with structured and unstructured data sets, building predictive models, and advising on data mining best practices. Contribute to proof‑of‑concepts and pilots for clients while collaborating in cross‑functional teams. Leverage in‑house data platforms and recommend/ build new platforms as needed. Oversee daily operations of a global data and analytics team, review models, provide feedback, and assist in model development and data analysis. Manage other data scientists and engineers, develop and deliver appropriate algorithms, and design solutions using big data technology to ingest, process, and analyze large, disparate data sets. Communicate findings and recommendations to facilitate client presentations and improve data systems. Lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams, maintain client relationships, monitor progress, and cultivate business development opportunities. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, Operations Research, Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate related work experience, or a Master’s degree in one of those fields and 4 years of related work experience. Must have 4 years of professional services or consulting experience. 4 years of hands‑on data science experience, including client‑facing applications. 2 years of experience in big data and data engineering concepts. 2 years of experience managing teams of Data and Analytics professionals. 4 years of experience in at least two of the following technical areas: R, Python, SQL, or similar core packages and libraries for data science and machine learning. ETL and data engineering skills, including data cleansing and manipulation using SQL‑based tools/platforms. Data sources and structures such as APIs, NoSQL, RDBMS, Hadoop, S3, Blob Storage, or similar. Big data technologies in ecosystems such as Hadoop, AWS, or Microsoft. Travel required approximately 50 % of the time, including up to 20 % international travel. Benefits Base salary of $148,741.00 per year.
