Join to apply for the Merchandising Sales Associate role at Tractor Supply Company 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Overall Job Summary The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to execute tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain regular attendance and work varied shifts, including nights and overtime as needed. Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding work progress and issues. Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely. Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements and cycle counts. Hang signage, assemble merchandise and fixtures, and review planogram integrity. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value, and Appreciate. Ensure a positive shopping experience that differentiates from competitors. Provide coverage during peak times and perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Prior retail or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory; ability to read, write, and count is essential. Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields. Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills. Interpersonal skills to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict. Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently. Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise. Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, with travel between stores using personal vehicle. Adherence to safety guidelines and ability to work on hard surfaces and outdoor lots. Physical Requirements Travel as needed; lift/move merchandise up to 50 pounds; operate store equipment. Ability to stand, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and handle merchandise throughout shifts. Ability to operate vehicles and perform physical tasks safely.
