This role focuses on working with students classified under mild to moderate intervention services, utilizing both push-in and pull-out models to provide individualized instruction and support. Collaborate with a dedicated team to create an inclusive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students, particularly in a special education setting
• Familiarity with mild/moderate intervention services and IEP processes
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to high school students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Implement push-in and pull-out instructional models as part of daily routines
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student goals are met
• Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding student progress and needs
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
• Encourage a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
