Billing Follow Up Associate

We are looking for a Billing Follow Up Associate to support reimbursement activities for a Contract position based in Roseville, California. This role focuses on reviewing outstanding accounts, coordinating with payers and internal teams, and helping ensure claims are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within established guidelines while maintaining strong quality and productivity standards.Responsibilities:• Review, update, and submit billing claims to insurance carriers, government programs, and other payment sources to support timely reimbursement.• Investigate unpaid, denied, or delayed accounts and take appropriate follow-up steps to move claims toward resolution.• Communicate with patients, payers, and internal departments to obtain charge details, coding clarification, and supporting information for reconsiderations or appeals.• Maintain accurate documentation of account activity, payment status, and actions taken during the collection and follow-up process.• Process account adjustments, including approved write-offs and debit or credit corrections, in accordance with established procedures.• Prepare billing-related materials for distribution to the appropriate parties and help ensure account information is complete and current.• Provide administrative and general office support related to billing operations and assigned departmental tasks.• Meet defined productivity and quality expectations while carrying out routine work under established policies and daily direction.
