Location: Houston, TX 77011
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and provide leadership across multiple departments. This role requires a versatile individual who can assist in all areas of the operation, including machine operation, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and customer service at the call counter.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, support warehouse personnel, ensure operational efficiency, and help maintain a safe and productive work environment. This position is located in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and requires the ability to work in hot temperatures and varying weather conditions throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with and oversee daily warehouse operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel.
• Support all operational areas, including machine operation, order filling, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and call counter activities.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Train and mentor warehouse employees on processes, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and material organization.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Serve as a backup for warehouse team members as business needs require.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial experience required.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and working in multiple warehouse functions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and inventory tracking processes.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Ability to tolerate heat, humidity, dust, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicle traffic.
