Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lone Tree, Colorado.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 14, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring current acute care ICU experience and NIH Stroke certification.Details\n \n Adult ICU/CCU unit with 30 beds and 57 staff members\n Typical patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with overflow potential increasing ratios\n Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse plus bedside RNs at 1:2-3 ratio\n Nurse externs on staff to assist with patient care\n Unit utilizes Lenet beds and GE monitors\n Uses Meditech EMR\n Performs procedures including rapid intubation, chest tubes, and EVD placement\n Treats LVAD and CRRT patients\n Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n 13-week assignment length\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license, CO or compact required\n Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience required\n BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required\n Neuro certification preferred\n Neuro and trauma experience preferred\n US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)\n One professional reference required\n No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Care for critically ill adult ICU/CCU patients including LVAD and CRRT cases\n Flexibility required to adjust assignments mid-shift based on patient acuity\n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted\n First-time travelers may be considered\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-751363.
