Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab. This role requires the ability to take call and encompasses all aspects of scrubbing and operating X-ray equipment in both the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures lab.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and promote the mission and values of the organization.
• Scrub in for both Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures.
• Handle and maneuver Heart Catheters effectively.
• Evaluate images for optimal density, contrast, detail, and structural integrity to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Perform special procedures using the appropriate radiographic equipment following departmental procedures.
• Maintain procedural areas in a neat and orderly manner; prepare rooms and equipment for examinations throughout the day, with particular attention at the end of shifts.
• Ensure tables and equipment are cleaned and ready for the next patient while materials are restocked.
• Complete assigned examinations within the prescribed time frame.
• Report for duty on time, in scrubs, prepared for patient care.
• Review requisitions for relevant information and special requests.
• Position and prepare patients and set up equipment for all procedures.
• Scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Report any unusual reactions or conditions to nursing staff.
• Exercise judgment in providing information while being sensitive to individual and organizational concerns.
• Demonstrate flexibility to rotate among various shifts or departments as needed to meet patient care requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with this role.

Job Requirements

• Current NH ARRT license is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Completion of a certificate or degree course in radiologic technology.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates proficiency in the areas of responsibility may be considered.

Additional Information

Orientation may involve up to 16 hours of unpaid training.

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within a 13-week contract period.
