Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and in-depth discussions of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through analyzing imaging results and lab work
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement individual surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance by preparing the surgical environment, positioning patients, and passing surgical tools during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgery is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physician Assistant
