Supply Chain Manager

Growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead production scheduling, inventory control, procurement, warehousing, and continuous improvement activities across multiple operations. This position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met while driving efficiency and cost optimization. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels to support customer demand and production requirements Schedule plant production and coordinate delivery timelines Lead shipping and receiving personnel and organize resources as needed Source and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and service Maintain purchase orders, contracts, quotes, and supplier records Oversee multiple warehouse locations Manage customer orders, EDI transactions, order confirmations, and shipping updates Ensure on-time shipments and excellent customer service Develop work instructions and drive continuous improvement initiatives Support safety, quality, and environmental programs Perform internal audits and maintain compliance requirements Qualifications Supply chain, purchasing, inventory, or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and supplier relationships Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and production scheduling Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools Experience with ERP systems and EDI processes preferred Continuous improvement mindset with strong organizational skills What We're Looking For Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities Customer-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Comfortable working between office and plant floor environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Jobs
