Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standard assessments and observational methods.
• Design customized treatment regimens that cater to immediate objectives while addressing longer-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions centered on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage in collaboration with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to foster unified care strategies.
• Provide key education to patients and families, ensuring support for ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the journey.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as organizational standards.
• Commit to continuous education and peer engagement to stay current in innovations within the field.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of hire.
