- Clinical Infusion Nurse Supervisor (3376)Hot JobEverett - Everett, WA 98203## OverviewSalary Range$105,000.00 - $125,000.00 SalaryPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Position Summary**Responsible for supervising nursing services that support the plan of care provided by Infusion Solutions.Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the nursing team and patient care responsibilities. Provides consistent leadership to ensure the nursing team runs smoothly and serves as a professional role model. Ensures the Infusion Solutions nurses develop and implement a plan of care that meets each client's specific needs and is in compliance with accreditation standards, federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines as well as Agency policies and procedures.**Essential Job Functions*** Performs oversight of Nursing Services to ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, local state and federal regulations.* Evaluate and optimize inventories of supplies and equipment used in infusion nursing services.* Ensure a healthy working environment.* Use evidence-based health care practice to improve patient care and nursing strategies.* Establish rapport, ensure communication is clear and listen carefully for potential problems or miscommunications.* Demonstrates flexibility in adjusting staffing and patient care decisions in response to changing needs and being decisive when necessary. Effective decision making.* Focus on quality and patient safety with attention to patient satisfaction.* Supervise nurses by providing feedback on nurse performance, motivate and empower staff, and develop new employee orientation.* Oversee policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality infusion patient care and safety.* Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to support quality patient care.* Assist in monitoring nursing team resources and supplies to support efficient operations.* Utilize data to monitor and improve performance across key areas, including patient satisfaction, adherence to treatment plans, inventory management, and staff productivity.* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and effective service.* Stay current with the latest developments in home infusion pharmacy services and nursing practices and continuously improve services to meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare industry.* Monitor productivity of the nursing team.* Participate in recruitment and support retention of nursing team.* Establishes and maintains clinical competencies of infusion nurse.* Understands and supports job description of infusion nurse.* Knowledge of home infusion pharmacy regulations and accreditation requirements* Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team of nurses and healthcare professionals.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders.* Knowledge of electronic medical record (\*EMR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms.* Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient and business needs.* Participates in Infusion Solutions meetings as required.* Participates in agency's other mandated activities, including in-services, UR/PI committee meetings and staff meetings.* Adheres to all organizations, payroll, billing and documentation policies and procedures.* Meets established guidelines for documentation.* Completes a minimum of 10 hours of training annually. Written documentation of training to be kept and made available to the department of Health.* May be required to provide patient care based on business needs.* Other duties as assigned.*Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice to meet organizational needs.***Supervisory Responsibilities**Directly supervises infusion nursing staff, including Registered Nurses and support staff, where applicable. Provides training, scheduling support, performance feedback, coaching, and mentorship to ensure clinical excellence and staff engagement. Conducts regular performance evaluations and competency assessments. Oversees staffing levels and workload distribution to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Acts as a resource and escalation point for clinical concerns.**Reports To:** Director of Clinical Services (or equivalent clinical leadership role) and CEO/President.## Qualifications**Required Education, Licensure & Experience***All requirements below are job-related and consistent with business necessity.** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.* Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington in good standing.* Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.* Experience in infusion therapy, home infusion, ambulatory infusion, or a related specialty required.* Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, accreditation standards.* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.* Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare technology platforms.**Core Competencies*** Demonstrates strong leadership presence, fosters accountability, and promotes a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.* Effectively communicates with clinical staff, providers, patients, and stakeholders using clear, concise, and professional language.* Maintains advanced knowledge of infusion therapy practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.* Analyzes complex situations, uses sound judgment, and makes timely, informed decisions that support patient safety and operational success.* Coaches, mentors, and develops staff to achieve high performance and professional growth.* Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while promoting patient safety and quality outcomes.* Understands workflow efficiency, staffing models, and budgetary considerations to support organizational goals.* Responds effectively to changing priorities, patient needs, and healthcare environments.* Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally.**Physical Demands***For physical demands of position, including vision, hearing, repetitive motion and environment, see the following description. The environment may include exposure to typical healthcare conditions, including contact with patients, medical equipment, and occasionally hazardous materials such as biohazardous waste or cleaning agents. Work may involve moderate noise levels and frequent interruptions in a fast-paced setting. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur when traveling between locations.
