Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BLS, GA or compact RN license in hand Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Strong IV initiation, maintenance, and implanted port management skills Description: The position involves working in an outpatient setting. Top diagnoses and procedures include multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, genetic disorders, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, autoimmune conditions, endocrinology, nephrology, and pulmonary infusions. Responsibilities include IV initiation and maintenance, implanted port management, and hypersensitivity management. Candidates must be flexible in rotating to other non-oncology sites that provide the same standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are required.
