PART-TIME FARMERS MARKET & DELIVERY ASSOCIATE

POSITION SUMMARY

SABI is seeking professional, dependable, and high-energy individuals to represent the brand at weekly farmers markets throughout the Los Angeles region. This role also includes occasional delivery and operational support as needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with customers, values wellness, and is comfortable driving throughout Los Angeles. Responsibilities include both market operations and logistical support as the brand continues to expand.

In addition to serving as a market representative, this position may function as a SABI runner—transporting juice, supplies, equipment, and other materials between SABI locations and designated business partners. As the company grows, duties may also include local customer and wholesale deliveries.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and break down the SABI booth (tents, tables, displays, products, coolers).
• Provide samples and engage customers with accurate product and wellness information.
• Promote and sell juices, smoothies, and wellness shots.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SABI’s product line, ingredients, nutritional benefits, and brand story.
• Process transactions using Square; follow all cash-handling protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing booth environment.
• Deliver a welcoming, professional, brand-aligned customer experience.
• Capture occasional photos or short videos for social media content.
• Transport juice, equipment, and supplies as needed for operational support.
• Assist with local customer and wholesale deliveries as the brand expands.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to product inquiries.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
• Utilize effective upselling techniques to increase sales performance.
• Accurately handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain organized, well-stocked product displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Outgoing, reliable, and community-oriented.
• Interest in wellness, nutrition, or culturally rooted health practices.
• Comfortable working early mornings, outdoors, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to provide transportation; pick-up location is Venice, CA .
• Excellent driving record and strong safety awareness.
• Strong sales and customer-engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Los Angeles region.
• Preferred: bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or food/beverage sales experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Accurate cash-handling and transaction management.
• Strong customer engagement and demonstration abilities.
• Proven upselling skills.
• Understanding of retail sales principles.
• Basic math proficiency for inventory and transactions.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and team members.
• Food retail experience preferred but not required.
