Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification in Olathe KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor access and support a secure flow of people and vehicles. You will provide outstanding customer service communicate clearly with team members and help deter security-related incidents through a visible professional presence. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients drivers visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and shipping-related appointments maintain visitor and contractor logs and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document security-related activities incidents and irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
