You will contribute to building scalable, secure, and reliable platform infrastructure that powers AI capabilities, including the AI gateway.You’ll have the opportunity to build features that can be immediately deployed and validated, while contributing to the testing, support, and diagnosis of live systems. In alignment with Microsoft’s values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment where all employees can positively impact our culture every day.ResponsibilitiesWork on highly scalable and reliable service infrastructure.Contribute to a variety of service features, including our proxy engine, management APIs, data analytics, and deployment infrastructure.Build foundational platform infrastructure that supports secure and scalable AI capabilities and AI gateway workloads.Adopt AI-first development practices and work with the latest cloud technologies.Enable container-based deployments.Build an intuitive API development experience in Azure, backed by containers, virtual machines, Azure Functions, or the customer’s backend of choice.QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications:3+ years of software development and design experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering or related field, or equivalent field experience  Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#,  JavaScript  Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
