Materials Coordinator

Materials Coordinator Our manufacturing client in West Des Moines is looking for a Materials Coordinator to assist with account management, processing materials, and logistics support. Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hour DOE Hours : 8:00am-4:30pm M-F Job Duties: Work with sales team to build and support existing customer base. Perform daily maintenance of customer accounts and orders. Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and recommend appropriate solutions. Facilitate site tours for customers. Work with office team to manage customer orders from start to finish. Enter, manage, and track customer orders. Generate BOLs and other required shipping documents. Communicate order status updates and changes with customers. Work with warehouse team to manage orders, materials, and ensure product quality. Prepare quotes for new products and materials. Order, organize, and maintain parts inventory. Generate Bills of Materials for customers. Required Qualifications: 2-3 years’ experience with purchasing, planning, and/or parts processing 1-3 years’ experience with sales and customer service Computer proficiency. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing industry 2 year degree required, 4 year degree in relevant field preferred.
