Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Support in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday 09:30 AM – 08:00 PM Friday 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM Saturday 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner while following post instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and contractor activity in accordance with location protocols, reporting concerns and suspicious behavior to site contacts when needed. Complete routine reports, document incidents, and communicate relevant observations, maintenance issues, and policy concerns to supervisors and designated personnel. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
