Senior Accountant

divh2Senior Accountant/h2pRapid Industries is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will report directly to the Senior Controller. In this role you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, which requires the ability to juggle several organizational tasks at once. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of general ledger, AP/AR assistance, various reconciliations, month-end reporting, job costing, etc. This role will support our accounting team./ppResponsibilities:/pulliWork with Senior Controller to prepare/provide year-end CPA requests/liliMonth end close w/ Journal entries/liliInter-company reconciliations/liliBalance Sheet reconciliations/liliAssist Senior Controller on progress of jobs: actual vs. estimated cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated/liliObtaining a comprehensive knowledge of 2 ERP systems including helping improve processes/liliCredit checks/lili1099s/liliSales and Use Tax Reporting/liliBack up for Payroll Processing/liliBenefits reconciliations/liliPerform various other accounting related tasks and special projects/li/ulpRequirements:/pulli3-5 years of Accounting experience in Manufacturing Industry required/liliBachelors Degree in Accounting required/liliStrong collaboration skills and ability to work with a team/liliStrong organizational skills/liliOutstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports./liliAbility to multitask and attention to detail are critical./li/ul/div
