JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of tasks related to receiving, distributing and inventorying textbooks purchased by the Curriculum Aligned Materials Office. Additional Work Days/Hours Ability to work flexible schedulesESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Open and unpack shipments of textbooks. Review purchase orders, packing slips, and shipments to determine that the order is correct and complete. Document order receipts and inform the campus' textbook manager regarding the status of each purchase order. If necessary, place barcodes on each student textbook with barcodes provided. Organize books and/or move them to various classrooms, bookrooms, or departments as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience None Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics Ability to read purchase orders and determine if the correct books and quantities are received. Able to perform clerical tasks related to managing receipt of textbooks and checking that all orders are complete. Ability to organize materials for distribution. Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations. Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred).
