Description

Purpose of the Position: The Production Operator Break Relief will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production and/or assist in overall plant operations.

Salary is at $17 per hour

Hours:

40 hours per week

Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 2 breaks of 30 mins each

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates in a high-speed production equipment.
• Safely performs:
  • Operation of machinery
  • Loading equipment with material
  • Sanitation (Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area).
• Report any quality issues and or broken equipment's that will prevent or reduce waste to a supervisor, QC tech or mechanic.
• Must follow and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Will participate and complete all Company approved and required trainings.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with at least one year related experience or Associates degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program preferred or any combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment operation
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and related regulations

Physical Requirements:

• High Speed Bottling Manufacturing Facility may require prolonged periods working on feet, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
• Be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to safety.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
