Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our outpatient facility, where you will work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. As part of a collaborative team, you will have access to state-of-the-art resources, including advanced manual therapy tools and EMR software like WebPT for seamless documentation and tracking of patient progress. Key Responsibilities

• Establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focus and quality care.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that enhance clients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering adherence to therapy protocols and promoting best practices in exercise and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies for optimal outcomes.
• Evaluate patient outcomes diligently and document services accurately to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs to support patient recovery and encourage lifelong healthy habits.
• Educate patients and their families regarding physical therapy modalities, rehabilitation goals, and preventive measures for sustaining health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. Our clientele is diverse, including active adults, seniors seeking to maintain mobility, and athletes striving to return to peak performance. As a Physical Therapist in our facility, your expertise will play a crucial role in assisting patients to navigate their recovery process, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
