PRN MRI Technologist

Position Title: PRN MRI Technologist Summary: The MRI technologist is responsible for producing high-quality MR images, ensuring patient safety, and delivering excellent patient care. They perform MRI procedures at multiple locations, maintaining a patient-centered approach aligned with departmental and system goals. Perform MRI procedures, including patient positioning, venipuncture, and medication administration Select pulse sequences and evaluate image quality for accuracy and patient identification Adhere to safety guidelines, screen patients, and manage MR access to minimize risks Respond to emergencies and conduct ongoing quality assurance and educational activities Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers as needed Maintain technical competencies and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program. Certification in MR imaging by ARRT or ARMRIT within 180 days, and BLS certification required. Preferred licensure includes radiography certification.
