Deskside Support Specialist

Job Overview 12‑month contract with potential extension through 2028, onsite 5 days a week in Windsor Locks, CT. Experience with Office 365 and Windows 11 required. Key Responsibilities Provide deskside support for Windows 10/11 workstations. Assist with workstation hardware and software break‑fix; image PCs, perform installs, moves, adds, and changes. Perform asset recovery, tagging, and disposal per Kyndryl customer processes. Install customer‑approved software outside the standard image. Support printers, client center (Tech Bar), and mobile device return/drop‑box processes. Update IT Service Management tickets and provide mobile device packaging/shipping for disposal vendors. Maintain workstation operations and customer satisfaction. Participate in developing deskside support methodologies, processes, and procedures. Required Skills & Experience Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Teamwork and independent problem‑solving ability. Experience imaging, configuring, and troubleshooting PC systems. Hardware break‑fix and software installation expertise. Basic network troubleshooting (adapters, wireless, VPN). Proficiency with Windows 10 OS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with help‑desk ticketing systems. Support for mobile devices (Android, iOS). Additional Qualifications Strong customer service focus and patience with end users. Intermediate level in IT support.
