About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key partner in the organization's growth and will be responsible for strategic financial leadership, operational excellence, and process improvement. This includes developing multi-year financial plans, providing data-driven guidance on financial sustainability, and overseeing all financial functions such as accounting, budgeting, and compliance. The successful candidate will also be tasked with enhancing the financial infrastructure to support the organization's expansion and will play a critical role in grant management and compliance. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a CPA and advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial leadership experience is required, with a strong background in GAAP accounting and nonprofit finance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, hands-on, and collaborative, with a passion for mission-driven work. Technical competencies should include financial planning and analysis, audit and compliance leadership, and experience with grant-funded organizations. The role demands a leader with high emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of supporting the success of others in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
