Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

Good Nursing/Therapy relationship Easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support Job Description The Speech/Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care. The role is part of a dedicated therapy team, offers a good nursing/therapy relationship, and provides easy access to local regional management staff for support. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders. Use therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide support and information within Speech/Language Pathology. Provide therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Current state license/certification. Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation (preferred). Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Willingness to provide therapy services in multiple care settings (Skilled Nursing, Outpatient, Long Term Care, Home Health). Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in Speech/Language Pathology. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
