Job Description Position: School Psychologist Contract Location: Conyers, GA Contract Term: 2024-2025 School Year Hours: 35/week Pay: $50/HR to $57/HR Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Conyers, GA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of students through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and socio‑emotional functioning. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with diverse needs. Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with academic and behavioral challenges. Consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies to address students' learning and behavior difficulties. Participate in the evaluation and identification of students for special education services. Assist in the implementation of school‑wide programs aimed at fostering positive school climate and mental health awareness. Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Georgia. Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and socio‑emotional functioning.
