Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Interpret and read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform regular inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Make necessary adjustments to tooling and machining parameters for optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating CNC lathes and mills.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine setup.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
