Job Overview

This posting is for a Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated bye. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employee decisions for this restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead nightly shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned department Systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, delegate tasks, and report results to higher‑level managers.
• Oversee the Guest Service Department, ensuring crew and managers deliver excellent customer experiences, sales promotions run smoothly, staff are properly trained, and the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas are efficiently organized.
• Supervise the Kitchen Department, ensuring quality food delivery within deadlines, maintaining food safety, controlling recipe costs, and training kitchen staff on new menu items.
• Lead the People Department, hiring qualified crew, conducting training, scheduling to meet restaurant sales and profit goals, and maintaining employee motivation throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule availability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for a Manager role.
