Principal Digital Architect - CX

Salary: $187,400 - 312,400 per year Requirements:

• We require proven experience as a principal architect within a large, complex organization.
• We look for a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a masters degree is preferred.
• We expect 15+ years of technical leadership experience as a principal architect, including strategy consulting or innovation leadership in large matrix organizations.
• We need a demonstrated history of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs that produce both business and technical results.
• We value deep knowledge of digital transformation, emerging technologies, and practical business applications.
• We seek strong leadership capability, including experience guiding cross-functional teams.
• We require a solid grasp of technology management with an emphasis on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• We want experience leading and executing quality improvement initiatives.

• We want deep expertise in composable architecture at scale and substantial experience with large-scale digital products such as eCommerce and SFDC.
• We require a bachelors degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

• You will create strategic plans to retire outdated hardware, including AS400 systems.
• You will help raise service quality for stakeholders across our organization.
• You will lead programs that grow architectural capability and skills within our CET team.
• You will establish a CET architecture review board aligned with enterprise standards.
• You will participate actively in the Enterprise Architecture review board to promote standard practices across McKesson Technology.
• You will support delivery goals that exceed an 80% on-time, on-budget rate.
• You will help ensure greater than 99% uptime for critical applications through our technology quality program.
• You will make sure disaster recovery plans are architecturally sound for our most critical platforms.
• You will drive business value through data, AI, and generative AI automation.
• You will accelerate program delivery by applying strong SDLC practices across the NAPD portfolio.
• You will lead Enterprise Architecture reviews for the McKesson Technology Acceleration Program.
• You will champion business simplification through modern AI technologies.
• You will inspire teams to rethink technology design and build approaches using modern methods and simpler solutions.
• You will promote new technology practices across our architectural teams.
• You will mentor and develop emerging architectural talent and support leadership growth within the organization.
